New Kristala Demo Arrives Tomorrow (PC) — Console Versions Coming Soon

Kristala’s full release is just days away on April 23, 2026, and we’re thrilled to share that our brand-new demo launches tomorrow on PC!

This isn’t a slice from an earlier build of the game—it’s a preview experience designed to reflect the quality, systems, and direction of Kristala at full launch.

And just like we promised: progress made in the demo will carry over into the full version of the game when 1.0 releases. If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to begin your journey through Ailur, this is it.

An Update on PlayStation & Xbox Demo Timing

When we first announced this new demo, our goal was to release it simultaneously across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox, with save progress carrying forward into the full game on all platforms.

While the PC demo is ready to go right on schedule, the console demos need just a bit more time to cook before they’re ready to release.

The remaining work to support demo-to-full-game save transfer on consoles has now been completed, and both builds have been submitted for certification. Because certification timelines are outside our direct control, it’s likely the console demos won’t be available before launch day as originally anticipated.

The important part: the PlayStation and Xbox demos are still on the way.

As soon as certification clears, they’ll be released—and progress made in those demos will carry over into the full version of Kristala, just like on PC.

A Quick Behind-the-Scenes Note from Our Team

Supporting cross-platform demo save carryover—especially on consoles—introduced a few more moving pieces than initially expected during these final weeks before launch.

As a self-publishing indie studio preparing our first simultaneous multi-platform release, this has been a valuable learning experience for us behind the scenes. We appreciate your patience as we finish bringing this feature across the finish line on every platform.
